RINA has developed the "GO 2 CARB0N NEUTRAL" certification service, that allows you to declare whether a subject (e.g. the organization itself, their strategic product, a type of events they organize) is "carbon neutral".
The scheme is based on a regulatory document composed of requirements in line with the ISO 14068-1 standard and the PAS 2060.
The certification ensures a systemic approach to carbon neutrality management by the organization, and if the subject is a product, it ensures traceability management of the delivered product batches.
The certification also entitles you to display of a logo.
The "GO 2 CARB0N NEUTRAL" certification service is applicable to all organizations.
To obtain our certification, you must implement the requirements of the regulatory document and begin the certification process.
The main steps in the certification process include:
- completing an information questionnaire, receiving and accepting an offer from RINA, and concluding a contract
- A document review and interviews
- An on-site audit
- Upon successful completion of these steps, RINA will issue a "GO 2 CARB0N NEUTRAL" certificate, which is valid for three years and subject to periodic annual checks.
