Land use planning is the systematic assessment of land and water potential, and of alternatives for land use and economic and social conditions, in order to select and adopt the best land use options. 

RINA has developed expertise in supporting authorities, government agencies and the private sector in territorial and environmental planning.

The activity is carried out in accordance with the RINA governance model, which safeguards impartiality and prevents conflict of interest situations.
