The OPTIMUS Decision Support System (DDS), a tool co-developed by D’Appolonia, helps local authorities to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of their buildings without need for structural interventions. OPTIMUS DDS collects and integrates different data (weather conditions, buildings’ energy profiles, feedback provided by occupants, energy prices and energy production) and offers actions plans to energy managers, allowing them to make smart energy decisions.
The OPTIMUS DSS has been officially launched the 27th of April during the 8th European Conference on Sustainable Cities and Towns in Bilbao, Spain. Training courses will be organized in the three pilot cities of the project, July 6 in Savona, open to facility / building managers, energy managers, technicians working on sustainable energy action plans and smart city solutions, energy agencies and experts and local decision-makers keen to learn about smart energy solutions. The course program includes insights into Smart City governance, framework and current trends, an introduction and an opportunity to live test the OPTIMUS DSS.
