Adrian PINTEA, the General Manager of APIA (Agenției de Plăți și Intervenție pentru Agricultură), received on March 15, 2021 at the APIA headquarters, the certificate of compliance for the anti-bribery management system - ISO 37001:2016 from Mr Alessandro ROMEI, EMEA Senior Director at RINA Simtex– the certification body.
“The acquisition of this certification by APIA confirms that at the level of our institution a set of anti-bribery rules and control measures has been implemented in order to deter any possible bribery, but also to prevent, detect and treat bribery risks, both within the Agency, as well as in the relationship with the farmers and the collaborators of the institution. Implementing the international standard ISO 37001:2016 allows us to strengthen our organizational structure, which is based on ethics, transparency, professionalism and trust in relation to farmers, beneficiaries of European and national funds implemented by APIA, but also with the internal and external institutions with which APIA works”, said Mr. Adrian PINTEA.
