RINA has been appointed by the Agence Nationale des Ports in Morocco to act as an independent and technology-free consultant in the establishment of a new VTMIS in in the port of Dakhla.
The project aims to evaluate existing operational VTS Systems installed in large international ports of similar size through a benchmarking study to define the requirements of equipment, materials, technology, international regulations, training of personnel responsible for operating and technical monitoring of the new Dakhla Port VTMIS in conformity with international standards and recommendations.
This is part of our full package of owner engineering services aiming to protect the interests of the Owner and of the asset to implement, and consists in providing full assistance to the End User (Owner) throughout the full lifecycle of the project development. Based on the application of a multidisciplinary approach, it allows to overcome the main drawbacks and bottlenecks of the traditional methodologies that has been found not to work in case of complex projects.
