RINA Environment and Sustainability team has been involved since its origin in several projects dealing with environmental risks, territorial planning and local sustainability, facing the demands coming from project developers, public authorities, institutional stakeholders and local communities.

This Master aims to train experts in the field of integrated design of works and interventions relevant to the professions of civil engineer, architect and city planner. In this context, the course considers topics and issues related to environmental impact procedures as proactive design inputs.
Environmental Impact Assessment is part of these and Alessandro Puppo, from RINA Environmental Studies team, gave a lecture on this to the students of the Master. The lesson focused on the EIA procedure for the floodway of Santa Margherita Ligure (Genova), which involved RINA in its two stages (in 2005 and between 2015 and 2018).
