Gold Standard for the Global Goals (GS4GG) is the next-generation standard under the Gold Standard (GS) Program, designed to accelerate progress toward climate security and sustainable development. The new standard enables initiatives to quantify, certify and maximize their impacts toward climate security and the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), while enhanced safeguards, holistic project design, management of trade-offs and local stakeholder engagement ensure GS continues to deliver the highest levels of environmental and social integrity.
RINA, which is a Validation and Verification Body (VVB) under GS Program for several years, successfully concluded the transitional process and has been approved as VVB according to the new GS4GG standard.
