RINA aims to showcase its dedication across the entire lifecycle of vessels, from inception to decommissioning, from initial design and construction to end-of-life activities.
We lead the creation of value-added services, encompassing advanced engineering, environmental conservation, and energy efficiency solutions.
Decarbonisation is also one of our main targets and we play a proactive role in its evolution, bringing our multidisciplinary skills to the Marine industry to build a more sustainable future.
What we offer
- Ship classification and newbuilding, normally provided by the operational network through its offices and engineering centres. We ensure the vessel's international trade readiness with comprehensive class certification and regular surveys, minimising risks to life, environment, and property. Our Leonardo Info software provides easy access to survey reports and ship history, enhancing operational safety, efficiency, and profitability. We constantly develop and update Rules and Standards to cover the classification of a wide range of ship types and of the most innovative design solutions.
- At the forefront of shipping's decarbonisation, we actively contribute to a sustainable future: collaborating with designers, we ensure compliance with rules for dual-fuel vessels and innovative concepts like hydrogen or ammonia, elevating efficiency and performance, thereby reducing emissions.
- SERTICA suite, including applications such as real-time fleet performance management (SERTICA Performance), a paperless electronic logbook (ELB) and remote inspections devices. SERTICA optimises companies’ business within maintenance, procurement, HSQE and crewing, providing a modular system to simplify operations and optimise performance.
