Nor-Shipping 2023 ISO 39001 applies to Road Safety systems that deal with road safety: an instrument that supports public and private organizations that manage transport vehicles and/or infrastructure or are capable of influencing the traffic generated by their activity.

An RTS Management System, if effectively implemented, is able to protect not only the safety of employees, but also customers, users or interested parties.

How the Certification Procedure works

  • Compilation of the information questionnaire
  • Presentation of the technical proposal which, once accepted, constitutes a service provision contract
  • Company audit and related reports
  • In case of success in the previous phases, the certification is evaluated by a technical commission
  • In case of successful completion of the previous phases, the certificate is delivered to the company
  • Annual audit to maintain the certificate.

Who does this rule apply to?

ISO39001 can be adopted by any public or private organization that has any relationship with transport infrastructure and vehicle management. So that these organizations aim to improve management, performance and road safety.
