18 - 20 Jun 2019

RINA presents the latest advancements of our H2020 energy projects at EUSEW 2019 Networking Village

The European Sustainable Energy Week is a month-long series of activities to build a secure energy future for Europe.

Launched in 2006 by the European Commission, EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.

We are glad to announce that we are taking part in EUSEW Networking Village in order to present all the latest advancements of our H2020 projects that aim to shape the future of the European Energy market:

  • “Transforming Construction Waste into Energy Efficient Solutions”: on Tuesday 18 June from 14.00 - 17.30, Michelle Giordano – RINA R&D H2020 project communication responsible– will present jointly with Eng. Rimoldi Alessio (BIBM) VEEP project (funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No: 723582) at the Joint Stand with other 3 H2020 projects: Innowee, Green Instruct and RE4. The aim of the stand is to promote dynamic discussions on the innovative solutions for converting construction and demolition waste (CDW) into new prefabricated elements and or components for better energy efficiency of buildings.
  • “How to make energy grids greener and more flexible?”:  on Wednesday 19 June from 9.00 to 12.30, Alessandra Cuneo – RINA R&D Project Technical Coordination– will present the latest advancements of 3 H2020 Research Project coordinated by RINA: SMILE (GA No 731249), MUSE GRIDS (GA No 824441) and E-LOBSTER (GA No. 774392) at stand . All the projects focus on innovative technologies and control strategies for energy grids to guarantee green and reliable energy on islands, in local energy communities and cities thanks to storage, DR schemes and the inter-operation of different energy assets.
  • “Zero emission – zero noise: Power to EU Music Festivals thanks for Everywh2ere”: on Wednesday 19 June from 9.00 to 12.30, Stefano Barberis – RINA R&D Opportunity Management – will present EVERYWH2ERE (funded from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking under grant agreement No 779606 and supported from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, Hydrogen Europe and Hydrogen Europe research), explaining how Fuel Cell work and how FC gensets can foster EU Hydrogen transition at the project’s stand.
  • “Heat Pump Innovation Center”: on Wednesday 19 June from 14.00 to 18.00, Alessandra Cuneo - RINA R&D Project Technical Coordination – will present SunHorizon (GA 818329) at the Joint Stand with DryFiciency and Heat4Cool. All the projects provide several solutions to decarbonise the residential and industrial sectors by combining heat pump with solar thermal, PV, thermal storage, PCM storage and other technologies.
