ABRACADABRA 7th National Meeting

29 Jan 2019

Which are the bankability opportunities for AdoRES?

How to handle the lengthy Return of Investments of Deep renovation?

Are urban legislations a stumbling block for renovation strategies?

What are the financial benefits of a Deep renovation strategy based on AdoRES?

As project partner of ABRACADABRA, a coordination and support action that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 696126, we are glad to invite you to the 7th Italian National Meeting that will take place in our offices in Milan (Italy) on 29th January 2019.

The objective of the 7th National Meeting is to discuss the opportunities created by AdoRES in fostering the Financial Models and bankability of extreme renovation on already existing buildings projects.

In fact, nowadays one of the main issue in deep renovation is the investment gap caused by:

  • an excessively high degree of risk,
  • long payback times,
  • the general “invisibility of the energy benefit”.

ADORES (Assistant buildings’ addition and Renewable Energy Sources) are sets of Assistants buildings units that adopt the existing buildings (the so called Assisted Buildings) and can reduce the above-mentioned investment gap.

The degree of Financial and Bankability risk and the opportunity to overcome it also through AdoRES will be analysed during the National Meeting at economic/financial, technical, legislative and social levels.

Moreover, ABRACADABRA partners will present some multiple deep renovation projects in details out of the 7 real cases that have been surveyed in different cities in Europe.

Four different financing schemes that came out of the cases will be described and the participants will be engaged in the definition of the final financial recommendations.

In conclusion, the results of the meeting will contribute to the ABRACADABRA policy recommendations on social housing that will be further discussed and finalised during the international workshop on Financial models and bankability opportunities for AdoRES in Brussels on February 7th 2019.

The participation to the event is free of charge: register now!
