Savona University Campus
The OPTIMUS Decision Support System (DSS), a tool co-developed by D’Appolonia in the framework of the EU funded OPTIMUS project, helps local authorities to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of their buildings without need for structural interventions. OPTIMUS DSS collects and integrates different data (weather conditions, buildings’ energy profiles, feedback provided by occupants, energy prices and energy production) and offers action plans to energy managers, allowing them to make smart energy decisions.
On Wednesday, 6th July 2016 a Training Workshop will take place in Savona (Italy) that will cover the following topics:European municipal strategies and experiences in energy management and policyLessons learned from smart data analysis and practical guidance on energy optimization measures for buildings, andDemonstration of the system in pilot buildings in Savona.Alessandro Venturin and Carlo Strazza, Energy Manager and Senior Engineer at D’Appolonia, will present the OPTIMUS DSS together with other project partners.
