Independent design verification

Infrastructure and Building large projects require Third Party Inspection services independent from designers and suppliers for design verification, site supervision and vendor inspection.

The activity is carried out in accordance with the RINA governance model, which safeguards impartiality and prevents conflict of interest situations.

These inspection services - alternatively called Independent Verifier, DVE design verification, Independent checking consist mainly in the following checks:

• Compliance with international and local standards and codes
• compliance with employer’s requirements and technical specification
• conformity and completeness of deliverables
• interface coordination between several disciplines involved in the project
• conformity the execution with the approved design
• expected costs (check of bill of quantities, check of business plan in public and private partnership procedure)
• reliability of timing of execution.

• Comment sheets where all comments issued by our team and replies of designers are recorded step by step
• intermediate and final reports.
