Green plus

The Green Plus additional class notation is a comprehensive scheme to evaluate the degree of environmental friendliness of seagoing and fixed location operated ships.

Deliverables

Upon request a Gap Analysis will be carried out starting from the evaluation of the actual ship environmental index on the basis of available documentation review and on board survey results, in areas such as:

• Dispersion of cargo dust from solid bulk cargo storage
• Spillage / leakage of substances from areas on weather decks
• Hot water discharge
• Dirty water from areas on weather decks
• Noise
• Visual impact
• Light pollution assessment and mitigation.
• Suggestions to improve the index with cost effective measures will also be provided for a possible future implementation.
