These are aimed at showing that we value employees, enhancing their skills as well as their health, safety and wellbeing, eliminating any form of inequality, consolidating the smart working experience and improving our attractiveness as an employer and staff retention.
RINA believes that eliminating all forms of discrimination and fostering an inclusive culture are essential to creating a workplace where every individual feels respected and valued in their identity. In 2024, we worked on the development of the new DEI&B Strategic Plan 2030, revising our KPIs and introducing the concept of Belonging, while setting increasingly ambitious qualitative and quantitative goals. As of 2024, 33% of our employees are women, and 28% of our top managers are female.
In 2023 we obtained gender equality certification for RINA S.p.A., RINA Services S.p.A., RINA Consulting S.p.A. and RINA Check s.r.l. As a further improvement measure, we have established a DE&I Steering Committee, which is responsible for monitoring the progress of the measures put in place and approving the use of dedicated financial and economic resources to increasingly shape inclusion, equity and diversity within our organization.
In 2024, RINA obtained the UNI ISO 30415 certification (Human Resources Management – Diversity and Inclusion), an international recognition that strengthens our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
This important milestone marks a further step forward in our journey to integrate diversity and inclusion principles into corporate strategies and organizational culture—elements we consider essential for our success and for building a sustainable future.
We have launched awareness and prevention initiatives to address physical, verbal, and psychological harassment in the workplace.
RINA has taken a clear stance on this issue and is committed to ensuring zero tolerance for any form of harassment.
The action plan includes: a formal commitment, mandatory training for 100% of personnel, a protection committee, an internal survey, and a dedicated anonymous reporting channel.
In December 2024, RINA adopted its own Supplier Code of Conduct, inspired by the guidelines of the Sustainable Procurement Working Group of the Global Compact Network Italy.
The Code refers to laws, regulations, and internationally recognized principles considered essential for establishing relationships with suppliers.
It draws on standards, declarations, and principles whose compliance, promotion, and implementation are required through the signing of the Code itself.
