Learn how to convert construction waste into energy-efficient buildings at the workshop organised by EU project VEEP

As project coordinator of the EU funded project Veep, we are taking part in the EU green week thanks to the organisation of the ConWEEB Workshop.

Veep project

Veep has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement N. 723582 and its main objective is to develop and demonstrate a series of innovative technological solutions to recycle Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) in order to reduce building energy consumption.

In particular, main expected impacts of the project will be related to:

  • an environmental sustainable development via CO2 reduction, energy savings and development of higher resource efficiency solutions
  • the promotion of circular economy practices in the construction industry
  • the improvement of innovation capacity in the construction sector to stimulate industrial growth and jobs creation.

The workshop

ConWEEB workshop is organised together with Innowee , Green Instruct and RE4 projects and it will be divided into three thematic sessions:

  • selection of CDW for recycling
  • characterization of the materials obtained from processing the CDW/New materials development
  • presentation of the design of the new prefabricated solutions.

The ConWEEB will bring together Entrepreneurs and Experts from Construction / Building sector, focused on energy-efficient solutions and interested in connecting and discover future opportunities, as well as for future business in the Green Buildings field.

The event will take place from 9.15 am to 17.45 pm. Register now here and visit the official website of the event for further information.
