Maritime Resilience Workshop

What is resilience? Psychologists define resilience as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress. All these parameters are present in the everyday work life of all seafarers and shore personnel in the Shipping Industry. Discover the resilience concept and acquire all the tools needed to handle any situation causing stress. This course follows the Guidelines and modules of SHELL’s Resilience system.

Participants will have a brief overview and understanding of the resilience concept in maritime, the resilience systems and the domains/modules that constitute it. They will also enhance their ability to comprehend the values and characteristics of each module, learn how to implement them and remain functional.
