Rules for naval ships classification

A flexible and tailored regulatory framework for Naval Vessels

Classification and statutory certification are a voluntary choice for all types of naval ships and fast patrol vessels, ranging from small RHIBs to aircraft carriers, including patrol vessels, corvettes, frigates, LPDs, fleet tankers and mine countermeasure vessels.

RINA classification rules are multiple sets of dedicated rules specifically designed to meet the needs of navies and shipyards, regularly updated to support safety, environmental protection, quality and cost-effectiveness.

In addition, we offer the possibility to develop a dedicated Regulatory Framework based on each vessel’s technical characteristics and operational profile. This approach ensures that the most appropriate rules and standards are applied, without compromising mission capabilities.
