"I really like the possibility offered by European co-funded research to interact with high-level researchers of different background, nationality and culture. I enjoy promoting and contributing to develop RINA companies skills in the field of advanced materials and health"

Industrial technologies and materials

Maintaining the competitiveness of all European technological and industrial sectors at the highest levels

RINA is active on many research and innovation projects on traditional and advanced material thanks to a strong multi-disciplinary engineering approach combining and iterative use of modelling, simulation, experimentation, testing, characterization and sensing in a methodologically integrated strategy.

Our activities on material R&D are therefore multisectorial and encompass most important sectors of relevance for Europe, being energy, transport, urbanisation, and safe & secure societies. Materials technology is addressed from a cross - cutting focus covering the various aspects of modelling, design, production, testing and life - cycle analysis.
