Demonstrate forest biomass compliance with RED III requirements through PEFC certification recognized by the European Commission
With the entry into force of RED III, companies operating in the forest biomass sector must demonstrate compliance with stringent sustainability and emissions-reduction criteria. PEFC RED III certification, a voluntary scheme recognized by the European Commission, supports operators in verifying compliance with the RED III Directive throughout the entire supply chain. Certification ensures traceability, biomass sustainability, and alignment with the regulatory requirements needed to access European Union energy markets.
