Westfield Hamburg – Überseequartier is one of the most ambitious mixed-use developments in Europe in terms of scale, technical complexity, and functional integration. The project, combining retail, offices, residential, hospitality, and public spaces faced significant challenges during the final construction phases, including operational delays, lack of system integration, and the absence of unified technical governance for MEP testing and commissioning activities.
We were engaged as an international technical partner to supervise the testing and commissioning of MEP systems, progressively assuming an extended operational coordination role. Through a multidisciplinary team of over 50 specialists, we ensured technical coordination across HVAC, BMS, electrical systems, fire protection, and emergency systems, introducing integrated process management, international quality standards, and continuous on-site oversight.
Our intervention contributed to stabilising the project, recovering significant delays, and supporting the achievement of commissioning and public opening objectives. Westfield Hamburg – Überseequartier stands as a significant example of our ability to manage the technical and operational complexity of large international urban developments, operating as an integrated platform in support of leading European real estate players.
