The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) selected RINA as the Verification Consultant for the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) Tunisia.
GEFF Tunisia program is designed to support the implementation of projects that help drive the country’s energy transition by improving energy performance, enhancing energy management, and generating socio-economic benefits for local communities. With an investment of €60 million, the program will finance projects focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and resource efficiency investments.
RINA is participating in this initiative with the aim of contributing to a world shaped by accelerated technological evolution, enabling industries and institutions to progress.
Through this project, we will bring our expertise in climate finance, sustainable infrastructure, and energy transition initiatives to support investments.
As Verification Consultant, we will be responsible for assessing the eligibility, feasibility, and environmental performance of financed projects, ensuring the integrity, transparency, and effectiveness of the program.
The assignment also includes evaluating the long-term impact of investments, supporting the achievement of measurable outcomes in terms of energy savings, greenhouse gas emissions reductions, and sustainable resource management.
