The transition to ISO/IEC 27006-1:2024 does not have any direct impact on ongoing customers’ activities or on the validity of issued certificates.
ISO/IEC 27006-1 is the international standard that specifies the requirements for certification bodies providing certification of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001.
The standard ensures that certification bodies operate with technical competence, in an impartial manner, and according to globally harmonized and internationally recognized criteria.
