In Rome, the spotlight was on Pitch Day, the final phase of Call 4 Startup “Innovation for Real Impact in Supervision and Monitoring”. The partnership with Zest Group attracted 101 submissions from 19 countries. The multi-stage selection process chose six finalists to present their solutions addressing the challenge’s core areas: autonomy and scalability, data complexity, cybersecurity and robustness.
Their proposals showcased new ways to supervise, inspect and maintain critical assets through drones, robotics, IoT sensors, AI and augmented reality, delivering measurable impact and long-term partnership potential.
After an inspiring round of presentations, the jury, composed of RINA C-levels executive and sector experts, celebrated the exciting finale of Call 4 Startup by announcing the three winners: SunCubes, Therness and Pipein.
Thanks to their groundbreaking solutions, each startup will receive a grant and dedicated support to scale up their solutions and impact within our innovation ecosystem.
This will be the beginning of the challenging and stimulating phase in which the three winners will have to implement the Proof of Concepts that concretely demonstrate how their solutions can integrate and generate value in RINA's operational world. We will test the proposed technologies in real-world conditions, validate their effectiveness, and lay the foundations for long-term strategic partnerships.
