Empowering photovoltaic equipment to achieve sustainable green development

RINA China

We are proud to announce our collaboration with the State Power Investment Corporation Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the 'State Power Investment Corporation Central Research Institute') to assist in the comprehensive review of the 'Action Guidelines for Green Supply Chain Management of Photovoltaic Equipment'.

This guide is based on the analysis of the photovoltaic equipment industry chain, and has researched and developed methods for evaluating carbon emissions and carbon efficiency levels throughout the entire lifecycle of photovoltaic equipment, including full lifecycle carbon footprint accounting, carbon emission intensity accounting, and supply chain management evaluation index system.

The development of this guide will help photovoltaic equipment related enterprises to continuously provide resource and energy utilization efficiency, improve environmental performance, and achieve sustainable green development in the process of implementing supply chain management.

Our role in the project

In this collaboration, we conducted a comprehensive review of the "Action Guidelines for Green Supply Chain Management of Photovoltaic Equipment" proposed by the State Power Investment Corporation Central Research Institute and provided a second party opinion.

Our review focuses on ensuring that the methodology system proposed by the State Power Investment Corporation Central Research Institute is in line with internationally recognized standards and best practices, including ISO 14040, 14044, and 14067 technical standards, ILCD Handbook, Product Category Rules (PCR) developed by the international EPD system, and the European Union Product Environmental Footprint Initiative (PEF). By following these frameworks, we will ensure the scientific, accurate, and reliable nature of the guidelines.
