On August 17th, Simone Manca, Senior Director of RINA Asia Pacific Region, along with his management team, visited the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, where they received a warm welcome from Mr. Xie Kaiyun, Deputy General Director of the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, and his team.
The discussions between the two parties began with a recognition of their longstanding and productive cooperation. Our Simone Manca expressed his gratitude to the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration for their unwavering support and assistance to RINA. He emphasized that we highly value our collaboration with the MSA, remain proactive in responding to port state control inspections, and are dedicated to jointly enhancing maritime safety.
Mr. Xie Kaiyun also conveyed his admiration for our history and expressed optimism about our development prospects. He expressed a keen interest in further strengthening mutual communication and collaboration, particularly in the realms of technical exchanges and personnel training. He expressed hope that we would be willing to share our extensive experience and technical expertise, contributing to the advancement of maritime safety and port state management.
