ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is a globally recognized standard that ensures laboratories meet the highest quality and competency requirements for testing and calibration. It provides a framework for laboratories to demonstrate their technical competence, impartiality and consistent delivery of reliable results.  

Our laboratory earns ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation 

Do you know that our laboratory in Genoa has been operating in the geotechnical/geomechanics field for over 30 years? 

We are delighted to announce that it successfully achieved ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. 

The accreditation process started in 2021, led to the recognition by ACCREDIA in 2022 and to an extension of the accreditation in May 2023, streamlining our testing procedures: 

- Participation in Proficiency Tests: it is relevant to highlight that the accreditation includes the obligation to participate in inter-laboratory comparisons "Proficiency Test" (PT) managed by ISO 17043 accredited organizations, a confidential, impartial and objective method to verify the performance of a laboratory and ensuring its elevated level of performance. 

- Unparalleled quality assurance: ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation means that our laboratory operates under a robust quality management system, adhering to internationally recognized standards. This ensures that our clients receive consistently reliable and accurate test results, improving confidence in their decision-making processes. 

- Comprehensive testing reports: In line with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, our laboratory will produce comprehensive testing reports. These reports will encompass all accredited tests conducted in our facility, providing clients with a holistic overview of the testing process and facilitating better understanding and analysis of results. This transparency enables informed decision-making and fosters effective collaboration between our laboratory and clients.
