"I'm working on carbon market from 2006 doing validation and verification of GHG projects, and based on what I did in different countries of Africa, Ivory Coast is a country with a large size of opportunities in this way. Italian companies from energy, agroindustrial, construction and NGO, participating to the Summit expressed interest on that."
The Summit is organized by NADUK, a newly established NGO, and by the Embassy of the Ivory Coast in Italy, in order to deepen the opportunities that the country can offer to Italian companies.
The event was an opportunity to illustrate some best practices to seize opportunities and maximize credibility in the context of Sustainable Business & Development. In particular, we described the Sustainability Goals focusing on the Climate Action, as well as an overview of carbon projects reaching GHG emission reductions.
We also illustrated the direct experiences that our team carried out in Africa, to demonstrate how business is strictly related to sustainability and that positive environmental, social and economic benefits can be achieved through the implementation of carbon projects.
Among the other actors involved in the Summit, the Ivory Coast institutions, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Africa and Business, Confindustria Assafrica and the Mediterranean.
