RINA at Interferry Conference 2025

We’re proud to announce that RINA will participate in the 49th Annual Interferry Conference in Sorrento, Italy
Interferry is the global association representing the ferry industry, with over 270 member companies from more than 40 countries. The conference agenda will explore a wide range of topics, including sustainability and decarbonisation, digital transformation and safety.
Luca Carrà, Marine Automation & Cyber Security Product Manager at RINA, and Maria Garbarini, RINA Head of the Passenger Ships Excellence Centre, will speak at Session 17: “Connect with Tech” on October 7th.
This session will explore the diverse ways technology is transforming and connecting the maritime industry. Topics will include how data collection and analysis enhance operational efficiency and safety, how digital tools foster stronger customer engagement, and how cyber threats can be reframed as opportunities for strategic resilience.
In particular, the RINA team will present: “Turning Cyber Threats into Strategic Resilience” — a forward-looking discussion on leveraging cybersecurity as a driver for innovation and robust risk management.
