The Mediterranean Security Event 2019, organized by the The Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) of the Greek Ministry of Citizen Protection and supported by the SecureGas H2020 project, aims at bringing together innovative Research & Development security projects, practitioners’ networks, industry representatives and the academic community to facilitate interaction and synergy among R&D activity and the networks of practitioners.
The program will span in three days in which various topics of security research will be addressed:
We are glad to announce that Fabio Bolletta – RINA Research & Development- will take part in the event as representative of the RINA, coordinator of the SecureGas H2020 Project, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 833017 to ensure the security and resilience of the EU gas network.
In particular, SecureGas latest advancements will be showed at the project booth and presented both in a dedicated session – day 1 from 14:40 to 15:00 – as well as in the framework of the CIP projects clustering, a workshop aiming at working towards capacity building in the domain of R&D for Critical Infrastructure Protection in context of the DG HOME EPCIP and the coming Horizon Europe (HEU) Program.
Finally, SecureGas will prepare a paper, in the topic of Protection of Critical Infrastructure and Public Spaces. The paper will be accessible after the event in the dedicated page.
