RINA takes part in the conference dedicated to the future of Transport Infrastructure

FEHLR Infrastructure Research Meeting 2019 (FIRM19) is an event dedicated to transport infrastructure Research Experts from Europe and beyond that aims at providing new opportunities in identifying research priorities and maintaining the positive climate for cooperation between institutes.

The event comprises nine different sessions, including two Interactive Workshops and a Session Workshop, covering all aspects of current and future needs for research, and offering a unique networking opportunity to participants.

We are glad to announce that Clemente Fuggini - RINA Corporate Research and Development, Responsible for Transport, Security and Critical Infrastructure Resilience – will take part in Session 5 “Resilience and Asset Management”, as representative of the European Construction Technology Platform ECTP

In particular, Clemente will have a speech about “Embracing Resilience in Infrastructure”, introducing the audience to the RINA strategy on Critical Infrastructure Resilience as well as its adaptation to Transport Infrastructure. In particular this will be addressed by showing preliminary outcomes of the H2020 Project FORESEE, where RINA is in charge of developing tools for an operational Decision Support to Transport Infrastructure Managers and Operators as well as for the implementation and deployment of the FORESEE Toolkit, an IT platform that integrates and federate the various tools developed in the project (for more information see the project case-study).
