RINA hosted a three-day training program at its Open Innovation Hub in Rome dedicated to students of the Executive Master in Business Administration for Innovation (EMBAIN), the international program developed by MIB Trieste School of Management to equip managers, professionals and researcher with the skills needed to address the challenges of innovation, markets and business transformation.

The initiative took place in the recently renovated facilities of the Open Innovation Hub in Castel Romano (Italy), now enriched by the new Welcome Center designed to host customers, partners, startups, institutions and stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem. An environment designed to encourage contamination of ideas, collaboration and development of new business opportunities.
Over the course of the three days, participants explored the process that transforms an idea into a practical, market-ready solution.

The program covered every stage of the innovation journey, from research and experimentation to technology validation and the development of use cases and sustainable business models. Training sessions were combined with discussions with RINA experts and guided visits to the site's research and testing facilities

Among these, the HYDRA demonstration plant and the laboratories dedicated to the development and characterization of advanced materials allowed participants to closely observe applied research, testing and technological validation activities.

Hydrogen served as the central case study throughout the program. By examining market dynamics, infrastructure requirements, technological developments, and potential industrial applications, participants gained insight into the conditions required to transform innovative concepts into economically viable and industrially scalable solutions.

The training ended with a session led by MIB Trieste School of Management, focused on the connection between the technical knowledge acquired during the training and the strategic and managerial challenges associated with driving innovation.

The initiative strengthens the dialogue between industry and academia while enhancing the role of RINA's Open Innovation Hubs as environments where skills, research and infrastructure meet to accelerate the development and adoption of new solutions.
