RINA has been selected as a partner for a project aimed at safeguarding food resources and ensuring the stability of storage infrastructure.

Funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade (MOSIT) and the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos & Storage (EHCSS), the project aims to strengthen food security and resilience through the construction and expansion of silos across five strategic governorates, adding a total storage capacity of 375,000 tonnes.

Egypt's wheat storage infrastructure

RINA is participating in the project by integrating expertise and technologies into solutions designed to support Egypt's food resource management capabilities.

Our role involves providing environmental and social consultancy services to ensure compliance with international and local standards, thereby supporting responsible infrastructure development and the effective management of both locally produced and imported grain.
