This course is designed to provide an understanding of the dimensions of national cultures that affect how people think and behave in various situations. Emphasis will be given on how the participants can use the theory in their daily interactions with other nationals and translate that into applicable actions within the maritime industry. By the end of the course, the participants will be able to adjust their communication and behaviour across cultures without losing their own identity in a way that is respectful to themselves and the other cultures involved.
