Classification has been our core business since the very beginning, consolidating third party services experience in design, fabrication and installation issues, originally devoted for the marine sector. In this respect, we can offer classification services applied to drilling units, production units such, offshore support vessels and transport & installation units
We have been cooperating with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, shipyards and shipowners for decades, delivering third- and second-party services: classification, statutory certifications, marine operation surveys, specialist studies and technology qualification.
Certification of an industrial asset has the main purpose to ensure, by performing a third-party independent review of the project, that the industrial project will respect objective safety parameters to reduce risks to human life and the environment. We act as Certifying Authority for the compliance of single components of the plant and for the whole process facility with internationally recognized and established standards.
Classification services for ships have been our core business from the very beginning, consolidating, in both onshore and offshore field, third party services experience in design, fabrication and installation issues, originally devoted for the marine sector.
We have been regularly involved in both these activities starting from the Seventies, reaching a number of more than 150 certified platforms all around the world.
