Aerospace quality standards

EN 9100, EN 9110 and EN 9120 certifications

The EN 9100, EN 9110 and EN 9120 standards are based on ISO 9001, adding specific requirements regarding safety, reliability and aerospace navigation.
The certification according to these standards enables organisations to grow in terms of efficiency, productivity and competence, as well as providing recognition by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG).

Legal Framework

The EN 9100/9110/9120 standards have been developed by IAQG - an organisation established in 1998 to achieve significant improvements in quality management systems and cost reduction in the supply chain for all aerospace products and services.
EN 9100 - Quality Management Systems - Model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Manufacturing, Installation and Assistance.
The standard applies to organisations that design, develop and produce any type of aerospace systems/components, including installation and servicing activities.
EN 9110 - Quality Management Systems - Model for Quality Assurance for Aerospace Maintenance Organisations.
EN 9120 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Organisations that Distribute/Sell Parts, Components and Materials to Aerospace Customers.
