Today accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy is becoming more and more crucial and changing our behaviour towards Energy Efficiency has a potentially enormous environmental impact.
Do you know that buildings account for 40% of the total EU energy demand and it is reported that the change of consumer’s behaviour can reduce energy consumption ranging from 5% to 20%?
As Project Coordinator of InBetween, funded in November 2017 from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 768776 to develop a cloud based platform offering advanced energy services, we are taking part in the webinar organised by the European Portal for Energy Efficiency in Buildings on 27 January at 12.00 CET.
The webinar aims at presenting H2020 projects that aim to develop IT tools that are attractive for its users and therefore leading to a long-term behavior change for energy savings.
We are glad to announce that Federica Fuligni – RINA Corporate Research & Development Project Technical Coordination – will present InBetween concept and solutions deployed at residential and public buildings to enhance energy savings by promoting behavioural changes.
In particular, she will focus on InBetween mobile application, which allows users to integrate their building’s connected devices and systems with advanced energy analytics and optimisation services to create a comprehensive and customized recommendation and feed-back solution.
Moreover, also four other H2020 projects delivering ICT solutions for energy savings will be presented: MOBISTYLE, UtilitEE, eTEACHER and FEEdBACk.
At the end, 30 min Q&A session will allow an exchange of views and information between the project representatives and the audience.
