Optical Emission Spectrometry (SPARK-OES)
This spectrometric technique enables the simultaneous determination of the alloying elements that characterise a material. The test is performed directly on the sample surface following appropriate surface preparation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Carbon and sulphur determination by combustion analysis
Carbon and sulphur contents are determined by measuring the quantities of CO₂ and SO₂ generated during the combustion of the sample in an oxygen atmosphere.
Semi-quantitative XRF analysis
This technique is used to determine the principal alloying elements in components with complex geometries and/or large dimensions.
The analysis is carried out by measuring the characteristic wavelengths emitted by the different elements when excited by X-ray radiation.
