Our 500 m² mechanical workshop is equipped with all the machinery required for the preparation of metallic and non-metallic test specimens intended for laboratory examinations and qualification testing.
We operate both conventional machining equipment, including band saws, milling machines, grinding machines, and lathes, as well as advanced CNC machining centres.
The use of CNC technology enables us to accelerate specimen manufacturing through fully automated production processes while ensuring dimensional tolerances significantly tighter than those required by applicable specifications and reference standards.
Every material entering our laboratory is assigned a unique identification code, ensuring full traceability throughout the entire process, both before and after machining operations.
In addition, each material is associated with a dedicated manufacturing drawing incorporating the dimensions and tolerances specified by the applicable standards. This approach ensures that workshop technicians have all the information required to manufacture test specimens and mechanical components according to laboratory testing requirements.
Upon completion of machining activities, each specimen undergoes a final inspection by qualified personnel to verify compliance with dimensional requirements and workmanship standards. The samples are then released for testing in the relevant laboratory according to the established testing programme.
To provide a complete and reliable service, any remaining material resulting from machining operations is properly stored and maintained for potential retesting, additional examinations, or future verification activities.
