Our projects

We provided engineering and permitting services to support the replacement of natural gas mains and services in residential and commercial areas.

Since 2019, we have designed over 350,000 feet of main, including two horizontal directional drills (HDD) across navigable waters. The design plans were used to secure appropriate permits for installation of the utility in public rights-of-way in various jurisdictions, as well as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, State Department of Environmental Protection, and Water Management Districts as necessary. T

he engineering scope of work for these projects included an 811 design ticket, utility information gathering, a review of known gas line routing projects, replacement plans, tie-in details, tie-in and purge sequencing, submittal of permits and delivery of issued for construction documents dependent on permit approvals.

We are performing a variety of field oversight, coordination, and inspection services for a utility client in Chicago, Illinois, as part of a program to upgrade their system and improve safety and reliability.

We and our diverse subcontractors have provided 40-100 personnel for construction field inspection management services, including field coordination, welding inspection, coating inspection, field surface restoration and compliance quality inspection.

We have been providing these services for the client since 2016.

We provided inspection of welding, coating, utility construction, and office administrative support for the installation of 9.5-miles of high-pressure transmission piping in the Maryland area.

We also performed GIS services, survey, and as-built engineering on the project allowing the team to provide a cost effective one stop solution for all of the project needs.

We utilized FieldView, a mobile technology solution, to provide real time critical project management data where stakeholders can track various metrics such as what was designed against actual installation throughout the project.

FieldView works seamlessly with field personnel to collect data necessary for tracking and traceability.

We assisted a large liquid pipeline client with the development of upgrades to their propane storage caverns at their Indiana and Illinois facilities. The upgrades included revising the piping at each cavern inlet to upgrade block valves and instrumentation as well as add pressure control valves and emergency shutdown valves.

We completed engineering to develop the concept into construction drawings, assisted with material procurement and construction bids, addressed questions and clarifications posed during construction, and provided record drawings of the upgrades after construction was completed.

We coordinated survey data gathering and utilized geotechnical data provided by the client to complete the horizontal directional drills (HDD) engineering design of two 8-inch, 3,000-foot-long pipeline crossings of the Elkhorn River in Nebraska.

We also designed piping modifications and upgrades to the two valve stations on each side of the river crossing.

The project was on a quick timeline due to the flooding conditions and the impact on the existing pipeline.

We quickly responded to our clients need to design plans, estimate costs, and develop the schedule to prepare the project for construction.
