The Systems Boarding Summary Dashboard was created by us to help its client understand how COVID impacted its ridership services.
The dashboard was designed to capture different metrics such as time intelligence for its different service routes and comparing the routes by last 7/30/365 days. These metrics were displayed using different charts and summary tables to help the client make informed decision regarding how allocate transit resources.
Argonne National Laboratory engaged our company to develop and implement a project management information system that efficiently and accurately transmits project costs and schedule data between control account managers and the project controls team for a major project.
The tool developed is the place where information is stored (project controls data) and where workflow is managed. It visualizes the schedule in a Gantt chart and the budget in a time-phased method.
We provide end to end risk management services for our clients across multiple industries. Being proactive in risk management allows our clients to assess potential threats or opportunities that may impact the execution of capital programs.
We specialize in identifying potential risk through a comprehensive risk assessment process. This process not only identifies risk, but it also focuses on developing strategies for measuring, monitoring, and controlling risk. These strategies allow organizations to reduce uncertainty and increase the likelihood of successfully executing capital programs.
We have performed risk management services for major transit and DOT agencies, Industrial, as well as in the utilities and renewable space.
Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) engaged us to develop Earned Value Management (EVM) Guidelines for implementation on design and construction projects.
EVM will provide Massport with further insight into project performance allowing for improved project management.
Our initial scope consisted of assessing Massport’s current practices and then developing, presenting, and delivering a Needs Analysis document to highlight areas of current practices for improvement.
We performed an analysis of Massport’s current processes and procedures to determine how EVM could best fit the needs of the organization. A custom solution was developed that was the “right size” for Massport. The right size approach was developed using lean principles to align with Massport's lean culture.
We narrowed down the EVM Guidelines provided by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI EIA-748) to six foundational requirements. Implementation of these six foundational requirements was designed to optimize an Earned Value Management solution at Massport without adding undue complexities to the existing practices and procedures.
The EVM tool has been approved by the Capital Delivery Director and we will be moving into the implementation phase of the work.
We evaluated the amount of change that utility operations would be subjected to as a result of the technologies deployed through Grid Modernization projects such as smart meters, automation, and increased data availability.
We change consultants identified teams, such as call centers, line crews, and dispatch, that would be impacted at high levels, developed meaningful communication plans and executed the outreach and training to make sure the new technology was understood.
We assisted with creation of success metrics, so the client knew what behaviors to monitor as leading indicators of future business objective success. The client is happy with the field engagement of these changes that lead to increased safety (automation allows identification of hot meter sockets faster) and customer satisfaction (data telling them to change a transformer before it fails).
