RINA has a proven track record of providing cost estimating services, including Independent Cost Estimating services, on major transportation, transit, and infrastructure projects. Many of our construction cost estimators and project controls professionals have careers grounded in general contracting. This allows us unique insight into construction practices, which results in more reliable, accurate, comprehensive cost estimates and construction schedules. We have extensive experience in executing construction projects in active operating facilities, we understand the associated constraints, productivity impacts, and constructability concerns. Our cost estimators have decades of experience in the real-world challenges that come from building under these conditions. This expertise reduces our client’s risk when compared to consultants that do not possess such industry experience, as we are able to apply best practices from our successful work with past projects. We also provide cost estimating services as part of our program management and construction management services.
Amtrak’s Frederick Douglass Tunnel Program will replace the existing Baltimore and Potomac Tunnel and upgrade a four-mile section of the Northeast Corridor.
