The service consists of laboratory tests, resilience tests, machines hardness testing for laboratory mechanical testing.
Calibration tests can also be carried out in situ.
The laboratory has 4 ovens with automatic temperature control for the heat treatment of sample materials before processing specimens for mechanical testing.
Thermal treatments can be carried out up to 1100°C.
