Sustainable success stories from our team in Turkey

In Turkey, we have become a pioneer 3rd party and in 2015 we have conducted the first ever Water Footprint Verification, in line with the ISO 14046 standard, with the first local water footprint verifiers.

As a pioneer 3rd party, we’ve collaborated with numerous well-known companies, which are awarded as CDP Turkey Water Leaders by CDP - Water, in their journey towards sustainable water use.

Our team in Turkey has a significant experience in the verification of Water Footprint in accordance with ISO 14046 through providing high quality services and building local capacity in addressing water issues in the local market with highly competent and local water footprint lead verifiers and trainers.

Key success at a glance

• we provided the 1st “ISO 14046 Water Footprint: Assessment And Reporting” Public Training in Turkey in 2015
• we support to capacity development in companies that care about sustainability issues in Turkey through both in-house and public trainings with highly competent and local team
• one of the company that in three of the responding companies achieved “A-score” in the CDP’s-Water Program 2016 is verified by us
• two of the companies that in five of the responding companies elected “CDP Turkey Leaders” in the CDP’s-Water Program 2016 is verified by us
• in Turkey, as a first-of-its-kind, one of the leading company of Turkish Cement Industry has been verified for water footprint in line with the ISO 14046 Standard in 2017.
