Food-safety culture (FSC) is increasingly important within the food and drink manufacturing and processing industry and forms underlying foundations of a food safety management system. FSC is considered an important risk factor to be managed by organizations and there are several advantages in its implementation such as: to perpetuate Food Safety as a shared value in the organization, achieve greater adherence to expected behaviors, decrease risk of recall, decrease need for supervision, facilitate the implementation, maintenance, and robustness of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) defined in 2018, the FSC as the set of shared values, beliefs and standards that affects the mindset and behavior towards food safety across the organization and indicated five cultural dimensions that must be addressed to establish and/or strengthen and organization’s food culture.
This topic integrates the additional requirements of the FSSC 22000 Scheme, BRCGS has the Food Safety Culture Plan as a specific requirement within the Standard and IFS defined the minimum elements to drive the food safety culture and evaluated trough two version 7 requirements.
We organize a webinar to present a brief introduction about the food safety culture applied to the food and drink manufacturing and processing industry explaining the concepts, approaches and possible assessments in order to implement this important requirement in your organization!
The webinar will be only in Portoguese language.
