A dynamic and inspiring environment to learn and share knowledge
Following last years’ successful conferences, the 3rd Mare Forum Hong Kong will be held on Wednesday 20 November 2019, in the framework of the Hong Kong Maritime Week 2019. The event is a partnership between Mare Forum, InvestHK, Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board & Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Specifically, the conference will be focusing on two main topics: Hong Kong and its place in the Global Dynamics (Geo-Politics, Macro-Economics) and Hong Kong becoming a Maritime Technology Hub and Smart Investments.
RINA will be sponsoring the event. Moreover, Mario Moretti, South East Asia Area Manager, will play an active role during the morning session “Ta Panta Rhei - Shipping and Geo Politics” where several topics will be discussed, including:
- Geopolitical considerations about Hong Kong, Washington, Singapore, Moscow, Athens, Beijing, London
- Protectionism, the opposition between globalisation and regionalism and the effects on trade and shipping
- The world economy and trade forecast in the new multipolar world
- Exploring new risks in a changing global environment
- Regulations on environment, exploring the right balances between regulations and market realities
- The competitive advantages changes of the global Maritime hubs and Hong Kong
