UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE FP7 (Seventh Framework Programme)
Call: FP7- SST.2013.4-2

Challenge

INCASS will introduce key innovative features regarding ship structural and machinery integrity. These are related to enhanced assessment of ship structures based on robotic platforms, application of novel visual 3D reconstruction and monitoring.

Approach

Support in structural and machinery modelling and analysis as well as in the database development, in the testing and technical audit of the INCASS platform and  in the case studies (different ship types).
This project has received funding from the European Union’s FP7 collaborative project under Grant agreement No 605200.

Conclusion

A range of tools have been developed which are expected to have significant impact at technical and commercial levels for ship robotics inspection.
