The purpose of the course is to keep participants regularly updated as concerns information relating to statutory and class rules and interpretations, essential for proper and safe fleet management, gaining knowledge of the latest developments as well as the consequences for the construction, equipment and operation of ships.

This course introduces the recent changes to national, regional and international maritime regulations with particular respect to ship safety and the protection of the marine environment.
