RINA, as a leader in the digital transformation of industry and energy systems, is well prepared for the new challenge faced following the outbreak of the Covid-19 thanks to the experience gained through the approximately 600 remote surveys already carried out over the past year.
In order to boost the development of remote inspection technologies, we have created a new tool, representing a solution to help avoid the spread of the coronavirus, together with Augmented and Virtual Reality innovator VRMedia. This allows site surveys to be carried out remotely by interacting with the client’s onsite operators using the VRMedia Kiber app, which is simply downloaded to their smartphones.
We now offer a new digital service for crediting such remote inspections, ensuring equivalent reliability without the traditional associated burdens of time, money and resources.
