Standards EN 9100, EN 9110 and EN 9120 are based on ISO 9001 but include specific requirements concerning safety, reliability and navigability of the aerospace sector, including configuration management and specific methods.
EN 9100 - Quality Management Systems - Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing. The standard applies to Organisations that design, develop and produce all types of systems/components for the aerospace sector, including installation and service activities.
EN 9110 - Quality Management Systems - Model for quality assurance applicable to maintenance organisations in the aerospace sector.
EN 9120 - Quality Management Systems - Aerospace Requirements for Stockist Distributors.
These standards were drawn up by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), established in 1998 to make significant improvements to quality management systems and cost reductions in the supply chain for all products and services relative to the aerospace sector.
